Life for vegetarians/ vegans in Denmark can be quite hard due to the luck of awareness of the Danish sociality and the low temperatures in the winter which require us to pay more attention to our diet.
My aim in opening this blog is to help us Vegetarians/Vegans that live in Denmark and tourists, finding and shearing information.

Since I came to Denmark the last 6 years I can actually see a great improvement in the Supermarkets having more and more healthy vegetarian food but still the way is long.
Sweden
I just discovered the last year that Sweden is actually a heaven for vegetarians/Vegans :
- All Supermarkets have a lot of quality vegetarian food to about 25% off the price in dk.
- Restaurants all over Sweden offer normally very nice vegetarian dishes.
So how can we help bringing Denmark forward towards Sweden and rest of the world (OK may be just some little parts of the world)???
Names and address of restaurants and health shops in Sweden are very welcome as well, here is one and half:
- Health shop in Malmø: http://www.astridochaporna.net/ about 10-20% cheaper then dk's health’s shops.
- Astrid also has a Vegan Cafe in Malmø (very nice and tasty).
